China to boost imports to promote balanced trade

BEIJING, March 5 (Xinhua) -- China will boost imports to promote balanced trade in 2026, according to a government work report submitted Thursday to the country's top legislature for deliberation.

In the 2026-2030 period, China will strengthen the coordination between imports and exports, place equal emphasis on goods trade and trade in services, and coordinate foreign investment attraction and outbound investment to cultivate new strengths in international trade and two-way investment cooperation, according to a draft outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030) also submitted Thursday.

Regarding Document Language Versions and Our Services

We have intentionally presented these documents in their original format: some crucial policies are available only in Chinese. This reflects a common and critical challenge when entering the Chinese market—the information barrier. Although the Chinese government is continuously enhancing its efforts to publish information in English, a vast volume of legally binding regulations, standards, notices, and real-time updates are still first published through official Chinese channels. This divide of language and access often leaves overseas companies struggling to obtain key information or reliant on outdated and inaccurate translations.

This is precisely where one of the core values of China Entry Hub's "on-the-ground" team lies. As local experts deeply embedded in the Chinese market, we are able to:

  • Monitor and review the official websites of various central and local government departments in real time.
  • Accurately interpret and distill the core requirements, deadlines, and changes from Chinese policy documents that are relevant to your specific business operations.
  • Provide precise business impact analysis, going beyond mere translation, to support your informed decision-making.

If you need to inquire about whether a specific product is subject to special regulations, the specific application requirements for a certain certification, or any policy details only published on Chinese platforms, please feel free to reach out. We are ready to provide you with professional information retrieval and insightful analysis services at any time.
