  1. The consignee of imported goods or their agent declaring the import of beef subject to safeguard measures as specified in Article 2 of the Ministry of Commerce's Announcement No. 87 of 2025 (hereinafter referred to as "safeguard measure beef") shall make the declaration in accordance with the customs declaration form completion specifications after the means of transport carrying the imported safeguard measure beef has declared entry.

  2. According to Article 3 "Method of Implementing Safeguard Measures" of the Ministry of Commerce's Announcement No. 87 of 2025, during the implementation period of the safeguard measures, the special safeguard measures for beef stipulated in the Free Trade Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of Australia (hereinafter referred to as the China-Australia FTA) are suspended. The relevant provisions of GACC Announcement No. 207 of 2019 concerning the special safeguard measures for beef under the China-Australia FTA are simultaneously suspended.
